Research

My research explores the intersection of cinema, memory, and cultural identity in post-Soviet spaces, with particular attention to how film functions as a medium for processing historical trauma and constructing collective narratives.

Research interests include Eastern European auteur cinema, documentary aesthetics, and the role of film festivals in shaping transnational film cultures. Work has been published in both academic journals and film criticism outlets.
